Afa Pitts, MD earned her medical degree, graduating with honors at the top of her class on her way to becoming a successful OB&GYN. She was establishing a life and career for herself when fate stepped in and she moved to the USA to start over in a new country with a new career.
While leaving the medical profession was difficult, Afa realized after some soul searching that she could leave her mark on America, and still be a force for positive change in peoples’ lives. It’s this realization that led to the founding of API, Inc.
Though she faced naysayers, this first-generation American rose above the adversity and made a career that defied the odds.
Since founding API, Inc., Afa has challenged the status quo at every turn. Bringing her keen medical approach and diligence to business, Afa’s work is changing lives in real estate, business acquisitions, and beyond.
